Use of social media is a trend you can’t miss in this rapidly growing technological age.  Social media platforms are one thing we all have in common. No matter your age, race, gender, or nationality, we all have probably heard of or are using Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram (at least one of the four). Understanding how to use these platforms in a business sense is a growing concern in this new technology and socially engaging culture. 

 The use of social media in business also poses new threats and HR problems like: how to manage employees who misuse the platforms, business matters reflecting in personal “statuses” and company drama.  Knowing how to maximize your businesses reach, manage employees and all of the legalities that we are now faced with are all issues that will be covered in this month’s topic: Social Media in the Workplace

 So buckle up and prepare to engage in a discussion that will involve much more than your thumbs and an electronic device!
